I walked a million miles

I did I walked,

A million miles,

Over brook,

And breach,

And field,

And stiles.

I did I walked,

Much more,

Than that,

In rain so light,

I did not,

Need a hat.

I kept a pace,

As slow to see,

The beauty of,

The bramble,

And the tree.

Though I would walk,

A thousand more,

My feet did ache,

My legs were sore.

For I did walk,

A million miles,

Through acres,

Of the northern wilds.
