Through Autumn Leaves

Through Autumn leaves,
And crooked boughs,
The Sun upholds,
Her solemn vows.

To give us light,
To warm the Earth,
To keep us safe,
Till death from birth.

Shines on with power,
No hidden agenda,
The Sun gives Life,
With power not tender.

She holds her place,
Both strong and bold,
Through Summers heat,
And Winters cold,

The Sun upholds,
Her Solemn vows,
Shines her light,
Through Autumn boughs.
